Background Story

The inspiration behind Buslane was born from first hand experience in the transport industry. While working within the sector, we were struck by the growing number of companies profiting from transporting children with special needs, disabled individuals, and elderly people. It became clear to us that, despite the essential nature of these services, the focus was often on profit rather than the well-being of those who truly needed it.

We saw families and local councils struggling with high transportation costs and limited options, while individuals with mobility challenges were often left without the means to participate fully in their communities. This stark reality motivated us to take action and create something different—a non-profit organisation dedicated to serving these vulnerable members of society.

We founded Buslane with the belief that transportation should never be a barrier to opportunity or independence. Our goal is to provide affordable, reliable, and compassionate transport services that put the needs of our community first.
